What we do with our “IT”

I realized something today.

First off, let me state that I truly believe we all have IT.   Some kind of IT factor.   It’s different for everyone.   For some of us IT is our kindness or our compassion, for others, IT could be our talent or skills or natural born strengths, and still others IT might be our passion and fire. Whatever it is, IT is very important. IT is what the world wants. IT is your gift to the world. IT is very important.
It makes perfect sense that we should shine our IT in any and every way we can, right?
That’s what we do with our clients. It’s why we take all those classes, read all those books, attend programs, and get great coaching… to discover, uncover and reveal our magnificent and magical IT factor and quality, that something that gives our lives meaning, purpose and fulfillment, and usually does something similar for others as well.
Except what really happens? We hide out IT. We keep it quiet. We’re afraid to show it. We compromise and cover it up. In other words, every time our IT wants to shine, we go “SHHHHH”, and try to keep it a secret from the rest of the world.
Now let’s look at this. You have an IT. A beautiful and magnificent and powerful IT. And you keep saying “SH” to it.
Well, from where I sit, when you SH your IT that’s just a whole load of….

Well, I’m sure you can figure it out.
